Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician Technician to join our team at Ball Corporation. As an Industrial Electrician Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed industrial process equipment, including electrical power systems, automation controllers, and PLC logic controls.
  • Identify and design process improvements for inefficiencies and potential electrical problems, and coordinate with supervisors to implement.
  • Diagnose causes of malfunctions and correct through field measurements and programmable logic control software.
  • Maintain effective communication and documentation through review of and entries to daily log books, updates to wiring schematics, and computer program change forms.
  • Work assigned schedule or 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, Monday through Sunday, working hours may vary as specified by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Job-related experience for 3 years minimum.
  • Electro-Mechanical Technology Degree (Preferred).
  • Rockwell PLC experience preferred.
Working Conditions

This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to, high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc. Must be able to withstand high ambient temperature at times. Requires working with or near energized 480 VAC circuits.
