Forklift Technician

The Forklift Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers, and golf carts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain industrial mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis, and implement repairs in a timely manner.
- Complete all repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Judgment and Decision Making - Evaluate the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
- Inspecting Equipment - Perform regular audits on equipment to ensure compliance with PM Planning tools schedule.
- Communications - Provide information to supervisor, co-workers, and subordinates through phone, email, or in-person communication.
- Timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records.
- Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time keeping platform.

Safety:
- All work must be completed in a safe manner, adhering to customer and Concentric safety requirements.
- Work areas will be maintained to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Timely completion of Safety training modules.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Strong equipment repair, mechanical, and/or electrical skills.
- Proven experience in electric Forklift Repair, with primary focus on electric trucks.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites.
- Hydraulics and conveyor experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to manage time and attendance, with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills for work order documentation and customer interaction.
- Familiarity with computer systems.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work in confined areas.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of a Service Technician.
- Willingness to learn and be trained.
- A valid driver's license, CDL a plus but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
