Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
  • Utilize therapeutic communication in daily practice to foster a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Identify nursing problems and develop individualized patient care plans utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current KY RN licensure.
  • American Heart Association BLS.
  • ICU, PCU, ENDO, PACU, SDS, PAT, Cath Lab, ED: ACLS required within 6 months.
  • PACU & ED: PALS required within 6 months.
  • ED Nurses: CPI certification training required within 6 months.
