About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lighting Production Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our production crew, you will be responsible for operating the Lighting Board and working closely with the Lighting Director to program the lighting console.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lighting Director in assigning fixture numbers and LED addresses in the console and on paper.
  • Collaborate with the Lighting Director to determine the best way to control groups of fixtures in all studio areas.
  • Help create "Sheets" for all studio set areas and instruct others in their use.
  • Program the lighting console, including managing control signal distribution throughout the studio and relay panels or dimmer racks.
  • Create DMX fixture profiles in the lighting console as needed.
  • Assist the Lighting Director in creating color pre-sets and programming LED set lighting according to WTVD preferences.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience programming lighting boards in a production or theater environment.
  • Experience programming ETC Element 2 lighting consoles.
  • Ability to take direction and work effectively within a team.
  • Familiarity with lighting equipment and software is essential.
