Assembly Production Specialist

The Carolina Components Group is seeking a skilled Assembly Production Specialist to join our team. This role involves assembling, testing, and inspecting single-use assemblies in a controlled environment setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various assembly equipment, tools, and test equipment according to approved product design drawings and procedures.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where you will be part of a close-knit team. As an Assembly Production Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by consistently following processes and procedures, reading and understanding assembly drawings, and distinguishing differences in sub-component parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test single-use assemblies using various assembly equipment, tools, and test equipment.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
- Distinguish differences in sub-component parts based on part number and visual inspection.
- Perform in-process inspections per applicable specifications or work orders.
- Label and package assembled products.
- Adhere to assembly methodology and accept/reject criterion.
- Interact with Quality Assurance personnel to ensure product quality.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Team Lead and/or Supervisor.
Requirements
To be successful as an Assembly Production Specialist, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous work experience within a controlled environmental space preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately in English.
- Ability to work safely around chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to do repetitive work requiring strong dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Work Environment
This role is typically performed in a climate-controlled office environment and throughout a heated manufacturing and warehouse facility. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Estimated salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
