Production Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Production Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at TalentBurst in Durham, NC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products from start to finish.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures. You will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of multiple products, using various gauges, tools, and inspection techniques. Your attention to detail will ensure that products meet our high standards, and your communication skills will facilitate seamless collaboration with our operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform in-process and final inspections of multiple products, using various gauges, tools, and inspection techniques.
- Accept or reject product according to inspection criteria, reporting any issues to your supervisor and recording findings on inspection documents.
- Procure inspection samples from in-process or finished products, ensuring that process and quality inspections are recorded in correct designated forms based on product manufactured.
- Identify each skid/pallet of questionable product, coordinate with operation to pull suspected product off skid/pallet, and ensure it is properly located in the rework or quarantine area.
You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, exposed to industrial machinery, moving parts, electrical and other energy sources. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including lab coats, hair/beard covers, gloves, ear protection, eye protection, and head coverings. You will also be exposed to fumes and chemicals, high frequency noise, and may frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to read and understand standard operating procedures, and other manufacturing work instructions and forms.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
