We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Visionworks of America. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet and assist patients, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, insurance information, and test results.
- Scheduling: Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Insurance and Billing: Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and handle billing and collection activities.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, including answering phones, responding to patient inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: One year of experience in a medical or optical office setting preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer software and systems.
This is a full-time position that requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. The noise level in the office is moderate, and the associate must be able to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
