We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Urologic Oncology team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our urologic oncology patients.
Responsibilities- Provide advanced clinical care to patients with urologic malignancies, including surgical and medical management.
- Collaborate with attending physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including robotic and laparoscopic surgeries.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including biopsies and drainages.
- Order and schedule laboratory studies and consultations as needed.
- Provide direct patient care services, including wound care and pain management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Current certification as a Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (CARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Previous surgical experience, including first-assist experience, preferred.
- Laparoscopic and robotic experience a plus.
