We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider III to join our team at UF Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and services to patients in our outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and appropriate referrals to patients in need of further medical care and services.
- Respond to consults, schedule procedures, and handle discharge planning as needed.
- Monitor and manage invasive and/or medical devices and placement of devices within scope of practice.
- Formulate comprehensive health management plans for high-acuity patients in collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical professionals.
- Enter pertinent clinical information in the patient's medical record in a timely and accurate manner.
- Document and close open encounters, MyChart messages, and other EMR communications in accordance with institutional requirements.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Program required.
- Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License required at time of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred at time of hire.
- PALS Certified preferred at time of hire.
