Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider III to join our team at UF Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and services to patients in our outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and appropriate referrals to patients in need of further medical care and services.
  • Respond to consults, schedule procedures, and handle discharge planning as needed.
  • Monitor and manage invasive and/or medical devices and placement of devices within scope of practice.
  • Formulate comprehensive health management plans for high-acuity patients in collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical professionals.
  • Enter pertinent clinical information in the patient's medical record in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Document and close open encounters, MyChart messages, and other EMR communications in accordance with institutional requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Program required.
  • Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License required at time of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred at time of hire.
  • PALS Certified preferred at time of hire.
