Director of Field Operations

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as a Photo Director, Operations. This role will require relocation to Virginia, with relocation packages available for the full move.
This is a "Manager of managers" position, requiring experience managing other managers within creative and/or marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations leadership, with a focus on team and regional KPIs, team performance, and workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage managers and individual contributors across the US, ensuring specific metrics, KPIs, and quality standards are met.
- Staff and recruit strong managers and leadership to support the company and teams.
- Coach, lead, guide, and develop managers and individual contributors in the field, primarily photographers creating visual content for the company.
- Ensure operational metrics and KPIs are met, overcome obstacles, and provide ongoing feedback to managers and teams to assure quality and improvement.
- Continuously improve workflows, processes, and innovation opportunities to drive operational optimization.
- Collaborate with team members from Sales, Product, Research, and Tech to deliver high-quality visual assets for the company's customers.
- Create and oversee top-notch onboarding and training programs for photographers and their managers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an in-person college/university.
- 5+ years of relevant experience leading creative operations or marketing teams.
- 3+ years of managing managers, with a minimum of 6 direct reports and teams of at least 80 employees.
- Experience leading in a metrics-driven and KPI-based organization.
- Ability to lead and operate in creative and delivery standards.
We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $150,000, an amazing benefits package, annual bonus potential, and relocation assistance. Bonus annually is up to 20%.
