Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator

The Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the management of work orders, billing, and accounts receivable disputes within the aircraft maintenance department and Part 145 repair station. This role also supports the overall administrative needs of the department.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review and adjust work orders for data and billing accuracy.
  • Ensure all transactions are accounted for and billing is applied to the appropriate accounts.
  • Audit maintenance timecards against work orders for payroll.
  • Verify supplies and equipment are billed to work orders accurately.
  • Match vendor invoices and shipping to work orders.
  • Assist in reconciliation of open vendor invoices, requesting credit memos and applying credits and payment as needed.
  • Filing of warranty claims for approved manufacturer warranty.
  • Month end closing of work order and shop accounts.
  • Utilization Reports, CC reports, and other various financial reporting.

  • Able to take initiative and execute assigned tasks in a timely and flawless manner.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, while supporting team initiatives and objectives and meeting deadlines.
  • Result-oriented, forward thinking willing to take initiative and accept responsibility.
  • Strong ability to exercise good judgement and discretion in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and willing to collaborate with team members to get the best results.
  • Expert level knowledge of FAA regulations as it pertains to aircraft maintenance.
  • Working effectively in highly demanding environment with changing priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft software suite: Excel, Word, Outlook. Familiarity with work order systems, knowledge of Corridor a plus.
