Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at WellStar Health System, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical procedures, including imaging and radiopharmaceutical administration, to diagnose and treat diseases.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect throughout the imaging process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved AMA Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, with a strong background in nuclear medicine.
