We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Hiram, Georgia.

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will assist in providing safe and effective care to patients by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals
  • Assist in preparing patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved AMA Nuclear Medicine Program
  • ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients
