Payroll Specialist for Large Enterprise Payroll Operations

">Addison Group, a leading provider of professional staffing services, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles. This role will be part of a hybrid work environment, with 3 days/week spent in the office near Beverly Hills.
">Job Summary:
">The successful candidate will be responsible for managing U.S. payroll processes, including time-keeping, deductions processing, and payroll journal entries. They will also oversee the 401K process, prepare payroll reports, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Manage multi-state payroll functions for a nationwide employee base of over 1000 employees.">
- Process payroll exceptions and retroactive adjustments, and maintain accurate payroll information in HRIS databases.">
- Prepare commission checks and calculate deductions for each employee.">
- Oversee the 401K process, ensuring correct deductions and conducting audits as needed.">
- Suggest implementation and upgrades of current payroll software programs.">
- Maintain high levels of ethics and integrity, adhering to all company policies and procedures.">
Qualifications:
">To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

- An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.">
- At least 8 years of payroll experience with a minimum of 1000 employees.">
- Multi-state payroll experience.">
PREFERRED:

- Bachelor's Degree.">
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.">
- Consumer Products and/or Retail industry experience.">

Estimated Salary Range:
