About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our team at Verizon. As a Tax Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tax-related projects, including multi-jurisdiction tax compliance, tax research, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in tax compliance activities, including Federal, State, Local, and International taxes
  • Support tax research and analysis, including analyzing tax laws and regulations
  • Assist in creating and delivering executive readouts and presentations
  • Work on data analysis and visualization using tools such as Alteryx, Qlik, Power Query, and Power BI
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, graduating between December 2025 and June 2026
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
  • Willingness to work in Basking Ridge, NJ
  • Ability to complete our 10-week internship during the summer of 2025
Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Tax and learning about how the Tax Organization operates
  • Expertise in analyzing data, facts, and other information
  • Effective analytical, communication, leadership, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in school, project work, or extra-curricular activities or clubs
