Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel, R&D to join our team at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive legal support to cross-functional teams for one or more clinical study programs.
  • Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other documentation related to clinical trials.
  • Assist in responding to subject injury claims and defending the company.
  • Participate in regulatory inspections and provide updates to senior management on legal issues.
  • Negotiate contract language and other issues with third parties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year College or University of recognized standing.
  • JD from Law School of recognized standing, and Bar Admission in NJ (direct admission or eligible for limited in-house licensing in NJ).
  • 4 or More Years post-law school experience.
  • 1 or More Years pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience, particularly in contracting and FDA regulatory issues.
  • 1 or More Years prior experience on specific business customers within the pharmaceutical industry.
