Role Overview

CVS Health is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Shift Supervisor Trainee. This role offers an exciting opportunity for career growth and professional development in a dynamic retail environment.

Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee will assist in the preparation of future supervisory responsibilities, including learning key aspects of the business and CVS/pharmacy culture. This position provides a short-term opportunity for employees to gain experience and develop essential operations and management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Work effectively with store management and crew members to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Supervise daily activities, assign tasks, and follow up on progress to maintain high standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
  • Maintain a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers by handling relations issues according to company policy.
  • Support the store team in achieving sales goals, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer proficiency.
  • Advanced communication skills, including effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, with occasional overtime.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $17.75 - $22.25 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
