Lead Learning Solutions Developer for Business Growth

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Learning Solutions Developer to join our Global People team at Walmart. This role will play a pivotal part in designing and implementing high-quality learning solutions that drive business growth, improve performance, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business owners, subject matter experts, and designers, to develop tailored learning strategies that meet the evolving needs of our enterprise. As a Lead Learning Solutions Developer, you will be responsible for evaluating effectiveness, improving learning outcomes, and staying current on trends in the learning field.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough training needs analysis to identify customer and operational requirements, understand performance gaps, and determine critical skills and knowledge necessary to bridge those gaps.
- Develop and communicate learning strategies to business partners, senior leaders, and subject matter experts based on adult learning principles.
- Determine the most effective delivery modality to achieve business outcomes, taking into account business context, continuity, and learner preferences.
- Guide development across various delivery modalities by collaborating with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and creative designers, setting clear expectations, and ensuring materials meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through direct observation, knowledge assessments, learner data, and business data, making recommendations to improve learning programs when outcomes are not met.
- Stay up-to-date on trends in the learning field, business operations, and leadership, including learning technologies, learning science, and facilitation practices.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Statistics, Communications, Psychology, or a related field and 4 years' experience in training, facilitation, program management, change management, operations, or a related area OR 6 years' experience in training, facilitation, program management, change management, operations, or a related area.
- 1 year's supervisory experience.
We offer a competitive annual salary range of $90,000-$180,000, as well as additional compensation opportunities through quarterly performance bonuses and stock.
