Position Overview
The primary focus for this leadership role will be on Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
As the Head of Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance, you will lead teams responsible for:
- IT/Security Compliance
- Security Policy, Oversight, and Education
- Risk Assessment Services
This position reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Point32Health.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage a team of senior leaders tasked with overseeing the fundamental aspects of Cybersecurity.
- Develop and enforce policies, standards, and guidelines to enhance the maturity of the organization's Cybersecurity program.
- Identify and communicate potential security vulnerabilities along with recommended enhancements.
- Facilitate collaboration between business units and IT to ensure effective solutions are implemented.
- Promote a culture of security awareness and principles throughout Point32Health through engagement, education, and partnerships.
- Drive operational excellence in response to evolving cyber threats and opportunities for improvement.
- Assess business risks and communicate findings to relevant leadership.
- Work with stakeholders to define and implement both technical and non-technical controls to meet cyber risk objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a risk repository to continually identify, prioritize, and address cybersecurity-related risks.
- Participate in various forums to understand the risk landscape and provide recommendations that align security objectives with business impacts.
- Encourage the adoption of leading security practices to ensure compliance with regulations and support ongoing monitoring and improvement efforts.
- Stay informed about developments in the cybersecurity field, including new security capabilities, processes, and threat trends.
- Recommend tools, processes, and technologies to advance or replace existing security practices in alignment with strategic goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of combined experience in IT, cybersecurity, risk management, audit, and compliance, with increasing levels of responsibility.
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
- A minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity, with at least 2 years overseeing other managers.
- Experience in leading the implementation of technical security solutions in large organizations.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing process-based security controls and capabilities.
- Experience in vendor management related to IT solutions and processes.
- Extensive knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as NIST and ISO.

Working Conditions
This position may require working under standard office conditions, with the possibility of remote work as needed. It may involve extended periods of sitting and the simultaneous use of a telephone and computer.
