The Senior Java/MuleSoft Developer is responsible for the modification and upkeep of extensive software applications. This position is integral to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for assigned projects, focusing on analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of various system components or applications. The role is characterized by a 70% transactional and 30% strategic focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and enhance software applications under the guidance of a manager or technical lead.
  • Engage in additional application development projects as assigned.
  • Participate in formal and informal training sessions to further develop technical competencies.
  • Contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Utilize creative and analytical skills in problem-solving scenarios.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Field of Study: Technology/Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in programming (Java, Spring Boot) and a minimum of 2 years in developing integration applications using MuleSoft; hands-on experience with CI/CD processes.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Database proficiency (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of Agile (Scrum) project management methodologies and Test-Driven Development.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree or Advanced Field of Study: Technology/Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: Full-stack development experience; familiarity with JS-based client-side frameworks (e.g., React.JS), NoSQL databases, event-driven architecture, and mobile application development (iOS or Android).
