The Senior Java/MuleSoft Developer is responsible for the modification and maintenance of software applications with a broad scope. This position engages in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for assigned projects, focusing on analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of various system components or applications. The role consists of 70% transactional work and 30% strategic planning.

  • Design and enhance software applications under the guidance of a manager or technical lead.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Field of Study: Technology/Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in programming with Java, Spring Boot (3+ years); at least 2 years of experience in developing integration applications using MuleSoft; hands-on experience with CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Database knowledge (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Understanding of Agile (Scrum) project management methodology and Test-Driven Development.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree or Advanced Field of Study: Technology/Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: Full stack development experience; familiarity with JS-based client-side frameworks (e.g., React.JS), NoSQL, event-driven and microservice architecture; mobile application development (iOS or Android).
