Position Overview

The Senior Java/MuleSoft Developer is responsible for the modification and maintenance of extensive software applications. This role engages in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for assigned projects, which includes analyzing, designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining various system components or applications. The role is comprised of 70% transactional work and 30% strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Field of Study: Technology/Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in programming with Java, Spring Boot (3+ years); 2+ years in developing integration applications using MuleSoft; hands-on experience with CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Database knowledge (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Understanding of Agile (Scrum) project management methodology and Test-Driven Development.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree or Advanced Field of Study: Technology/Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: Full stack development experience; familiarity with JS-based client-side frameworks (e.g., React.JS), NoSQL databases, event-driven architecture, and mobile app development (iOS or Android).
