As a Lead Java Software Engineer at eTrigue, you will collaborate within a compact agile team of like-minded and skilled engineers and product specialists in a focused, bureaucracy-free environment, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of our capabilities while delivering exceptional value to our clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the product owner to refine and solidify the technical and experiential design for new features and modules within eTrigue's DemandCenter product.
  • Architect extensible and scalable multi-threaded solutions, optimizing for resource efficiency, performance, and maintainability.
  • Develop, test, and enhance designs across the system, subsystems, and microservices.
  • Revise legacy code to streamline the system and create highly maintainable code.
  • Engage with customer support to diagnose and resolve product and platform challenges.
  • Oversee Java services within the AWS framework.
  • Stay updated on evolving Java frameworks, SQL, and NoSQL database trends and technologies for potential integration.

Qualifications We Seek

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, developing highly scalable systems.
  • 8+ years of experience in Java development with advanced proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Extensive experience in developing multi-threaded Java services.
  • Familiarity with Kafka and Rabbit MQ.
  • Comprehensive experience with the AWS framework and managing Java services on AWS.
  • Robust database experience, including design, implementation, and optimization with SQL and NoSQL (Cassandra) databases.
  • Strong understanding of APIs utilizing standards such as REST, JSON, or XML.
  • Experience across the complete technical stack of a SaaS product.
  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems and servers.

This is a full-time opportunity offering salary, equity/stock options, benefits, healthcare, PTO, and a matching 401k. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required. Only Greencard holders and citizens will be considered, as we do not sponsor H1 visas.
