As a key member of the Tampa General Hospital team, the Center Administrator will collaborate with the Center of Excellence Chief to drive quality, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency across the Center and its programs. This role will support the Center Medical Director in engaging medical staff, developing annual workplans, and making strategic decisions within the Center. The Center Administrator will facilitate Center Council meetings, provide administrative oversight, and ensure alignment with the hospital's mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis to identify gaps and develop strategies for center growth and expansion.
- Monitor and improve center operations across the care continuum.
- Track and report center volume and growth.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement operational efficiency strategies.
- Serve as a strategic leadership partner to physician directors and delegate center needs.
- Provide support and facilitate communication between departments and maintain high-level oversight of progress updates.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to identify opportunities and develop content.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, including SOCs, PSPs, and business proposals.
- Co-lead center governance with the Medical Director and promote inclusion and participation of all physicians and operational areas.
- Monitor and improve quality metrics and KPIs within the center.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the specialty area managed.
- Knowledge of specialty-specific billing, coding, inpatient, and outpatient work.
- Progressive supervisory experience, including financial analysis.
- Proficient in using computer applications for data analysis, communication, and reporting.
