Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $118,496 to $149,880, based on experience and qualifications. This figure takes into account the need for a Registered Nurse (RN) with completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.

Key ResponsibilitiesMain Duties
  • Provide patient triage through telephonic nursing assessment, prioritization, and subsequent care disposition recommendations using identified decision support tools and collaboration with providers and other appropriate departments.
  • Employ critical thinking and synthesis of objective and subjective data obtained during assessment to prioritize, identify, select, and apply the appropriate decision support tools to each patient encounter.
  • Communicate effectively using various formats, tools, and technologies to build professional relationships and deliver care across the continuum.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
  • A Registered Nurse (RN) certification from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
