Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Building Engineer to join our team at Lincoln Property Company. The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in directing the mobile engineers with the operations and maintenance of all assigned buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly operations and mechanical reports, and technical evaluations/deficiencies reports on existing mechanical systems and components.
  • Maintain staffing schedules and employment records for responsible areas in connection with planning, scheduling and execution of engineering/maintenance work.
  • Plan and coordinate the schedule of work in accordance with established priorities.
  • Provide the engineers with basic data required in effecting overall and long-range planning.
  • Respond effectively to all emergencies.
  • Maintain and operate HVAC equipment and all associated equipment.
  • Coordinate purchasing and inventory control procedures.
  • Attend periodic management/executive training seminars.
  • Assist in the organization of the engineering department.
  • Maintain liaison with Engineering Manager regarding work orders, job completion dates and priorities and estimates.
  • Furnish the Engineering Manager with information relative to criticality of buildings.
  • Make recommendations for systems improvement through immediate supervisor or management.
  • Make recommendations concerning Capital Projects.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Valid Applicable State Drivers License.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years training and experience in electrical, HVAC and refrigeration system operation, design application and maintenance.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in technical operations supervision.
  • Must possess an excellent working knowledge of computer based applications, to include Excel and Word.
