Job Description

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a highly skilled Lead Building Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for directing the mobile engineers with the operations and maintenance of all assigned buildings.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in technical operations supervision and a strong working knowledge of computer-based applications, including Excel and Word. This is a 100% in-office position, requiring standard business hours and no remote work or telecommuting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports preparation of monthly/quarterly operations and mechanical reports
  • Maintains staffing schedules and employment records for responsible areas
  • Plans schedule of work in accordance with established priorities
  • Furnishes engineers with basic data required in effecting overall and long-range planning
  • Responds effectively to all emergencies
  • Maintains and operates HVAC equipment and all associated equipment
  • Coordinates purchasing and inventory control procedures
  • Attends periodic management/executive training seminars
  • Assists in Preventive Maintenance Program and all HVAC Building Automation Systems
  • Assists in the organization of the engineering department
  • Maintains liaison with Engineering Manager regarding work orders, job completion dates and priorities and estimates
  • Makes recommendations for systems improvement through immediate supervisor or management
  • Makes recommendations concerning Capital Projects
  • Handles other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid Applicable State Drivers License
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of five years training and experience in electrical, HVAC and refrigeration system operation, design application and maintenance
  • Minimum of five years experience in technical operations supervision
  • Must possess an excellent working knowledge of computer-based applications, to include Excel and Word
