Job Title: Underwriting Auditor

AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a highly skilled Underwriting Auditor to join our team. As an Underwriting Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our commercial property and casualty division's underwriting processes are accurate and compliant with company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform post-bind reviews with some supervision, collaborating with risk quality assessment and other teams as needed.
  • Conduct detailed and documented reviews of new business accounts, validating eligibility and underwriting authorities.
  • Compile and document monthly and quarterly post-bind results, providing clear and concise conclusions.
  • Communicate audit results with underwriters, underwriting managers, and product managers.
  • Engage with business managers to discuss audits and maintain relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest underwriting guidelines and authorities to determine risk acceptability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of multi-line underwriting experience in systems like AmTrust rating engines, with a focus on WC and CPP.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and ISO class table skills.
  • Knowledge of WC and ISO coverages and forms.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams.
