Job Summary

The Underwriting Auditor will be responsible for conducting post-bind reviews of commercial property and casualty insurance policies. This role will involve collaborating with risk quality assessment teams to ensure that policies are written in accordance with company guidelines and underwriting authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed reviews of new business accounts to validate eligibility and ensure compliance with company guidelines and underwriting authority.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, underwriting managers, and product managers to communicate audit results and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Proactively engage with business managers to discuss audits and maintain relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest underwriting guidelines and authorities to determine acceptability of risk.
  • Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of multi-line underwriting experience in systems like AmTrust rating engines in both WC and CPP along with online entry work.
  • Detail-oriented with skills in advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, ISO class tables all lines, PAAS lookup, and application to decision-making.
  • Knowledge of both WC & ISO coverages and forms.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
