Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in an emergency setting, including restraint, venipuncture, IVC placement, and collecting accurate vitals.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in emergency medicine procedures, including surgeries and critical care.
- Conduct medical procedures, such as blood draws and injections, with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the State of Washington.
- High School diploma and a graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician Program or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with staff and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency setting and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic life support certification and ability to obtain advanced life support certification.
- Competitive hourly rate of $27-32, plus 5% or 10% differentials for swing and night shift.
- Up to $4000 hiring bonus available.
