About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Providence Health & Service. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
Requirements
  • Coursework or training in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent education/experience
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Sonography within 1 year of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience as an ultrasonographer
