About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Covenant Children's Hospital. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
  • Work under the supervision of the Diagnostic Supervisor, Manager, or Director to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Coursework or training in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent education/experience.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 1 year of hire or National Registered Technologist - Sonography within 1 year of hire or New Mexico Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program License upon hire (if practicing within this state).
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year experience as an Ultrasonographer.
