Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain procedures, and provide emotional support during exams
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Coursework or training in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent education/experience
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • National certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Sonography within 1 year of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience as an ultrasonographer
