About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Covenant Children's Hospital. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions
  • Work under the supervision of a Diagnostic Supervisor, Manager, or Director to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Meet required qualifications and conditions for payment to receive a $15,000 hiring bonus
Requirements
  • Coursework or training in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent education/experience
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 1 year of hire, or National Registered Technologist - Sonography within 1 year of hire, or New Mexico Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program License upon hire (if practicing in New Mexico)
Preferred Qualification
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasonographer
