Position Overview:
The Client-Focused Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and orchestrating the installation and commissioning of battery energy storage systems, prioritizing quality, timely delivery, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the successful execution of battery energy storage system projects from initiation to completion.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle, including post-project evaluations.
- Assist in project planning phases, from pre-sales activities to post-sale installation and commissioning.
- Collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners involved in the project.
- Develop and manage project budgets prior to sales and ensure adherence to financial plans throughout the project duration.
- Maintain consistent updates on project status, including any significant changes to technical specifications, timelines, or budgets.
- Facilitate the integration and execution of third-party equipment within the project framework.
- Ensure a seamless transition of the project to the designated long-term service team.
- Work collaboratively with other project managers to provide mutual support and share best practices.
- Organize and lead meetings to promote effective project execution.
- Contribute to the enhancement of corporate project management processes and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate Pre-delivery Inspections or Factory Acceptance Tests as required.
- Conduct field visits to assigned projects, dedicating up to 50% of time to on-site activities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and stakeholders, either directly or by liaising with subject matter experts.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all project documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Service, and Engineering teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Project Management expertise
- Sales proficiency
- Contracts administration experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong Customer Service orientation
Additional Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer project management, preferably in power systems or data center environments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective customer management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Capability to coordinate the efforts of various teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Experience in managing project changes and mitigating risks.
