POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role within the commercial team and collaborates closely with the leadership team, finance, supply, and demand functions. This role encompasses the marketing initiatives aimed at establishing Particle Dynamics as a leader in oral solid dosage (OSD) technologies within the pharmaceutical sector. The Marketing Manager is responsible for product management, marketing strategies, campaigns, and market development. This position is focused on marketing planning, strategy execution, and overseeing comprehensive marketing activities while establishing and managing effective programs to coach, evaluate, and train the commercial team. The role is remote, requiring approximately 25% travel.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and implement marketing initiatives to create positioning and go-to-market strategies for our product offerings.
  • Formulate annual strategic and tactical marketing plans, including budget considerations and timelines, and engage with internal and external stakeholders. Revise plans quarterly based on emerging opportunities and feedback.
  • Craft messaging and tools that effectively communicate the value and brand to the target audience through various channels, including sales force, digital marketing, events, and word-of-mouth strategies.
  • Oversee all external communications, including press releases, social media content, conferences, white papers, webinars, and more.
  • Foster and maintain external partnerships as collaborators and speakers for educational initiatives.
  • Stay informed about ongoing activities and develop effective countermeasures as needed.
  • Assess the effectiveness of channel programs and implement improvements.
  • Conduct detailed analyses and routine reporting on business performance and segmentation.
  • Manage budgeting and planning processes on a regular basis.
  • Adapt and rationalize global campaigns and programs for execution to establish strong customer and category positions and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies, campaigns, communication deliverables, and digital content.
  • Implement and manage a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy.
  • Plan and execute customer events related to the product portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven ability to develop, align, and implement impactful tactical plans with clear objectives, quality deliverables, and key performance indicators.
  • Capability to address problems ranging from routine to complex.
  • Identify issues, propose solutions, and collaborate with others to implement effective resolutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in a strategic role, working both collaboratively and independently to achieve results.
  • Provide regular updates through verbal and written communication regarding successes, challenges, best practices, and more to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional presentation and team management skills.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and goal-oriented.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the executive team.
  • Expertise in social media, SEO, and web positioning.
  • Outstanding writing abilities.
  • Experience in event planning.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business with a minor in marketing (advanced degree preferred).
  • Over 10 years of experience in product management, strategic marketing, and project management within the life sciences CDMO sector.
