Key Responsibilities- Provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate patient care, seeking clarification as needed.
- Function within the scope of practice for unlicensed assistive personnel, adhering to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Meet qualifications and competencies as identified in the department-specific Plan for Providing Care.
- Exhibit behaviors that contribute to a highly motivated and high-performance team, displaying professionalism in behavior, dress, and conversation.
- Utilize effective interpersonal skills to maximize excellence in customer service, following service excellence best practices.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
- Successful completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program or Medical Assisting (MA) program.
- Minimum six months nursing assistant or MA experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
- Demonstrated competencies in fundamentals of patient care and knowledge of scope of practice for unlicensed healthcare team members.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write legibly, and speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality.
