Job Summary

The Practicum Coordinator, Nursing will work closely with students, Academic Leadership, and Faculty to plan, organize, supervise, and ensure students' success in each program's practice experience requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement practice experience plans and policies to ensure student success.
  • Collaborate with Program Chairs and Faculty to coordinate practice experiences and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate student records and documentation for practice experiences.
  • Communicate with students, Faculty, and Academic Leadership to ensure a smooth practice experience process.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical sites and preceptors to ensure high-quality practice experiences.
  • Monitor and evaluate practice experience outcomes to inform program improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in practice experience education.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, doctoral preferred.
  • Preferred experience in academia, clinical nursing, leadership, or administration.
  • Unencumbered Registered Nursing License.
