Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Gulf. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct patient care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety in the Emergency Department.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire date.
- 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department or critical care setting.
