About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Eyeglass Manager to join our team at America's Best. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and revenue growth by optimizing eyeglass department operations and implementing effective merchandising strategies.
  • Monitor and control retail operating costs, budgets, and resources to ensure profitability.
  • Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Assist the General Manager with forecasting staffing needs, recruiting, and selecting high-caliber staff.
  • Lead and coach associates to achieve sales and customer service goals, and mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
Requirements
  • Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
  • Optical sales experience, with supervising experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and build associate relationships.
  • Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress towards goals.
  • Ability to analyze and create financial reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.
