  • Communicate effectively with consumers and their families about all aspects of the Mental Healthcare Delivery system, including their rights and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Active and current Peer Recovery Specialist or Peer Support Specialist certification in the state of Virginia or ability to obtain certification within 12 months of employment.
  • 2+ years of experience working in community resources and mental health services.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
