Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash and recyclables.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent injury and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Respond to paging system and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must live in the service area.
