This establishment features numerous television screens for sports enthusiasts to catch all the action, equipped with cutting-edge audiovisual technology. The venue will showcase an impressive LED display, allowing guests to enjoy multiple games and sporting events simultaneously. Sports & Social aims to provide patrons with an elevated dining and beverage experience, featuring a menu of made-from-scratch items and expertly crafted cocktails, alongside live music and special events throughout the week. Additionally, a variety of interactive social games will be available for all guests to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities of the Bartender:

  • Exhibit a lively, outgoing, and engaging personality while upholding professionalism.
  • Perform various tasks to ensure adherence to the proper service protocols.
  • Deliver courteous, professional, and respectful customer service.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and patrons.
  • Mix ingredients and prepare cocktails and other beverages according to established recipes.
  • Serve wine, as well as bottled or draft beer.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests.
  • Maintain clear, patient, and friendly communication with coworkers and guests.
  • Complete all assigned side work efficiently.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of products to enhance guest experiences and promote food and beverage offerings.
  • Verify guests' identification to ensure compliance with minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
  • Promote current specials and offers to guests.
  • Accurately record and process all orders, ensuring proper payment collection from guests.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and tips in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications for the Bartender Role:
  • 1-2 years of experience in bartending at high-volume bars or nightclubs.
  • Familiarity with various liquor brands, beers, wines, champagnes, non-alcoholic beverages, glassware, preparation techniques, and garnishments.
  • Formal bartending training is preferred.
  • Must meet local legal age requirements.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with guests, kitchen staff, and management.
  • Possession of alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as mandated by local or state regulations.
  • Reading and writing skills are frequently utilized for order taking and paperwork.
  • Basic mathematical skills are regularly employed.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Physical Requirements for the Bartender Position:
  • Ability to handle, carry, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds (such as barware, boxes, and bottles).
  • Efficiently navigate the bar, lounge, and kitchen areas.
  • Safely handle food, objects, products, and utensils.
  • Capability to bend, stand, stoop, and kneel as needed.
