Guests can expect an exceptional dining and beverage experience, including handcrafted menu items and expertly curated cocktails, alongside live entertainment and engaging events throughout the week. The establishment also offers a variety of interactive games for guests to enjoy.
Key Responsibilities of the Server:
- Welcome guests and promptly take their food and beverage orders in a professional manner.
- Serve drinks and menu items to patrons, while promoting additional offerings.
- Exhibit an energetic and friendly demeanor while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Deliver outstanding service with a smile to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and kitchen staff, both verbally and through the point of sale system.
- Engage with guests in a clear, patient, and humorous manner.
- Possess thorough knowledge of all menu items to enhance the guest experience and facilitate sales.
- Verify guests' identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol consumption.
- Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption, addressing any concerns with management.
- Complete assigned side work efficiently.
- Accurately manage all sales and payments from guests.
- Notify management of any service or safety issues and take appropriate recovery actions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Foster teamwork and quality service through effective communication with other departments.
- Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen staff for food and beverage orders.
Qualifications for the Server Position:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment, preferably in a nightlife setting.
- Familiarity with various liquor brands, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages is preferred.
- Must meet the legal age requirements as mandated by state regulations.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Must possess a courteous and pleasant demeanor.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interaction with guests and team members.
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local regulations.
- Reading and writing skills are necessary for order taking and paperwork.
- Basic math skills are required for handling cash and credit transactions.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays may be necessary.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to handle, carry, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and move throughout the facility during shifts.
- Effectively and safely handle food, objects, and utensils.
- Capability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift as needed.
