About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Relationship Banker to join our team at Heritage Federal Credit Union. As a Virtual Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for ensuring that members are promptly and professionally served electronically. This will include processing all consumer loan product types for our members and potential members through our online banking website and mobile app.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for loan applications submitted through electronic channels, such as Mobile Banking and Online Banking.
  • Support additional promotional programs and campaigns through both inbound and outbound sales contact initiatives.
  • Explain features and benefits of products and services through the members' preferred means of communication, including over the phone or email, to determine the best fit for each member.
  • Execute a consistent sales process to build and develop member relationships and expand product penetration while maintaining the Credit Union's core values.
  • Maintain a large sales pipeline to capture all opportunities and ensure no member is left unserved.
  • Accurately complete paperwork, including loan applications and loan closing documentation.
  • Complete loan closings through DocuSign or coordinate member closings via the retail branch delivery channel.
  • Meet sales and service goals established for the position.
Requirements
  • High school graduate with required loan training and certification.
  • Previous sales experience is required, preferably in a financial service setting.
  • 1-3 years related experience.
  • Familiarity of the sales processes, approaches, and skills needed to be successful in an inside and outbound sales role.
  • Knowledge of Company loan services, policies, and procedures.
