We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team in our inpatient behavioral health unit. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and experience working with interdisciplinary treatment teams. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, educating patients and their families about mental health conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, conducting assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
  • Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming, and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
