About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide interpretation and clarification of overhaul data to support operational repair and overhaul processes.
  • Produce material review board, temporary overhaul data requirement, unit build standards, and engineering bill of materials documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA 14 CFR PART.121 and 145 regulations.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to resolve technical problems beyond the scope of the product unit operations group.
  • Perform engine and accessory test, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for operations personnel.
  • Review service bulletins and manual changes, and incorporate amendments into production.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers, and produce reports relating to product serviceability, repair summaries, warranty, failure analysis, or product configuration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, industrial, or metallurgical engineering or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing methods, shop equipment, and machining processes.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints, engine technical data, and other maintenance program requirements and/or procedures.
  • Working knowledge of production management computer systems.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
