Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Engineer to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the planning, design, engineering, procurement, cost, scheduling, construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities of multiple major projects.
  • Prepare conceptual and detailed designs of major engineering projects, considering mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and structural factors.
  • Manage approved project timelines and provide technical and financial data for project justification and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Develop proposals and cost estimates, estimate project needs, and schedule work to meet completion dates and technical specifications.
  • Ensure facilities comply with federal, municipal, and provincial electrical, fire, building, health, and safety codes.
Requirements
  • University degree in mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience with project management in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Suite, federal and provincial fire, building, plumbing, and electrical codes, and gas turbine engines.
