We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at NexTier. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our field operations team, ensuring the successful completion of integrated well completions with a focus on CNG fueling.
Key Responsibilities- Review and approve all job designs before deployment to the field.
- Be the subject matter expert on all NexTier CNG equipment, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Commission CNG equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and upgraded.
- Develop and implement training programs for CNG personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Assess and evaluate CNG personnel on their training and performance, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with operations and NexHub to troubleshoot issues and resolve technical problems.
- Provide onsite technical support for customers and field operations team, ensuring excellent job quality and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in well-site job risk analysis and continual improvement programs, promoting HSE values and best practices for field operations equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
- 1 year or more experience in Field Engineering is required, with gas compression or handling experience preferred.
- Ability to analyze problems, make decisions based on analysis and judgment, and communicate effectively with on-site customer representatives and internal management.
- Language proficiency in English, with the ability to understand and speak at a level of proficiency allowing employees to issue, receive, and respond to both safety and operations-related directions in English.
