Key Responsibilities
Comply with all Company & Regulatory HS&E & Quality and IT standards and policies, maintaining required certifications up-to-date
Complete annual visual acuity and color contrast vision examination, utilizing corrective lenses as determined by testing results
Comply with requirements of various specifications, such as API, DS-1, and the DRILCO Field Inspection Services Procedures Manual
Ensure team members arrive on time with essential equipment, tools, and supplies needed to complete the job
Maintain inspection vehicle and associated equipment in an orderly, calibrated, and certified condition, ready for audit and use
Perform Risk Analysis (e.g. HARC, JSA) before each job or task, identifying and addressing potential safety hazards
Execute successful jobs as per client request, recognizing risks associated with the inspection process and reducing them to a reasonable level
Effectively communicate inspection results to customers and supervisors, following written procedures of the inspection process
Ensure all personnel assigned to responsibility are competent to complete allotted job duties and responsibilities
Complete required pre and post job documentation and job tickets on time and without errors, as per company policy
Safely and efficiently utilize inspection tools and equipment to support timely completion of assigned work orders and duties
Lead and support continuous improvement projects, developing technical knowledge through on-the-job training and certification classes
Work with Manager to prepare for future career opportunities, coaching and mentoring less experienced inspectors and inspector trainees
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of one-year experience in related field
Willingness to work long hours and be on call 24 hours/day
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Good driving record required
Excellent work ethic, demonstrated by a positive attitude and completing work on time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills, MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
